Wood Sand Cast Pattern. Used for the 1980s restoration of Bronze components of the Saint Paul Minnesota State Capitol Building designed by Cass Gilbert. This pattern was created by David Alm, third generation pattern maker Alm Pattern Minneapolis. to produce restoration grill work. The pattern was taken from original grillwork at the location. Odd and interesting piece of architectural history. This item is covered in the very fine silver oxide use to make releasing a casting easier. The oxide is powder-y and comes off to the hand when touched. There a few missing "button" details as pictured.
    Full Board:
    5' and 3.75" x 3' and 4"
    Grill Pattern:
    4' and 3 11/16"  x  2' and 4 3/8"
