Vintage Architectural Sheet Metal Turtle Reptile Lawn Art Cutout ~19.5x10"

Description

Up for auction is a vintage sheet metal cut turtle lawn ornament recently found at auction in Lancaster County PA.  It is found in good used condition.  Appears to have some age, best guess 1940s-50s.  Made in two pieces.  Head and shell expertly joined.  Older flanges in back would have held a metal ~3/16" rod to put into the ground with a cap on the top one, both welded on.  Nice patina, rust, pitting from exposure.  Some minor bends, small bullet style hole near bottom.  Unsigned unmarked.  Nice quality piece.
