My heart is full thinking of how we saved this historic house and the memory of E. Alice Austen, photographer, whose self-portrait detail of her intense face below a flowered bonnet graces this black and white poste rwith bright orange day lilies and her photograph of the ornate Victorian cottage with gingerbread overgrown by vines. Now an historic house museum in its property that is a city park at the shore of the Verrazano Narrows at the entrance to NY City harbor....Two posters are available, one with some slight foxing at bottom below the portrait, the other with a tiny tip of the bottom left corner torn away, push pin holes at two top corners, and a 16th inch ravel of paper off the left edge.  I will sell the one with the foxing first, unless you request the other. 17x22 inches.
