  • Condition: This is a cast iron steam locomotive plate in good condition, but with an area on the lower right section that appears to be a fault in the casting plate. The numbers "27" X 30" are still legible, but the number 30 is slightly depressed. The plate itself is intact and has no breaks or cracks in it.

    Description

    Here is a super heater steam locomotive cast iron plate.  I don't know what this came off of, but since it refers to tractive effort and driver diameter I am assuming it is from a steam locomotive.  Has the numbers "1200" and "1499" impressed on the backside.  Measures approximately 10.75 inches from tab to tab.  Buyer pays shipping.  Thanks for looking! .
