Expert Advice: Perfect size for dog under 12lbs though it will hold the weight of a 16lb dog. It’s more important to consider the interior dimensions versus weight limit. This carrier is the size that they say is definitely guaranteed fit under the airline seats on Delta, United, American etc. so if you have a toy breed: Yorkie, Maltese, Pomeranian, Min-Pin, Toy Poodle, small pug etc this bag is a great size. If your pup is generally oversized for their breed, or over 12lbs, it could likely be too small for them based on my experience.
