Here we have a pair of cast iron fireplace fireback side panels. They were made by the Smith and Anthony Stove Company of Boston, Massachusetts and date to around 1885. These panels are not marked but they came from the same home as the larger third panel shown came from. It is marked "Copyright 1885 Smith and Anthony Stove Co.". Each of the two panels measure 29" x 15 1/2" and they weigh about 58 pounds combined. This ad is for the two smaller panels only. See our other items for the larger panel with the Chinese dragon.
