This is an original antique salvaged gesso medallion from the Brooklyn Majestic Theater.  It is signed on the back by Harvey Lichtenstein, former president and executive producer of the Brooklyn Academy of Music.  It is mounted in a nice presentable shadow box frame.  There are some small remnants from the medallion that have flaked off the medallion on the bottom of the box and I don't see an easy way to open the box to clean them out.
