    Description

    Ever wonder why it's so hard to remove a builders plate from a locomotive?? Take a look at these rivets. These are the actual rivets that EMD used to secure the builders plate to the underframe of their locomotives. They appear to be made from stainless steel and have a wicked twist to them. These would look good paired with a builders plate mounted on a wood plaque.
    You need either 4 or 6 of these depending upon which builders plate you own. They would not have been used on the cast bronze plates, only plates made in the football style or newer.
