LACKAWANNA BRASS BRIDGE BUILDERS PLATE -- BUFFALO, NY 1910

Description

Brass sheet bridge builders plate, Lackawanna Bridge Company, large heavy and almost
perfectly
flat. Show no nasty signs of
removal
damage.
I've
owned this for many years, I've seen (remember) the matching mate to this one
pictured, and is was
heavily
damaged,
distressed
, marred, etc.
Since it has no
original
paint, a good cleaning & polish will really bring it to life, and I would think
increase
the
value--
especially
for display purposes. I do not know what the drip/run mark is, could be paint or oxidation, seems to be
just
on the surface, superficial. Appears to be removable as seen in spots not effected.
Never
displayed
, always box stored, like
nearly
all of my collections. Scan over pictures for
condition
closeups. I bought this because it is brass, NOT cast iron, and in
superb
condition for a bridge plate---that take a weather beating.
