Antique Early 20th Century Massive Hand Carved Oak Panel Black Forest

This is a massive hand carved oak panel with a hop vine pattern.
I originally thought that it was acanthus leaves, but then someone came forward and said these were hop vines which makes sense if it’s German made (either from Germany or an immigrant).
It came from a collection that dates back 60+ years.
The owner said that it was salvaged in the 60s from a commercial building in the Twin Cities and dates to the early 20
th
century and has a German/Bavarian Black Forest look to it.
It measures
24”w x 63”w x 3 1/8” thick. It’s a super heavy piece, probably oak.

uld look so great hanging horizontally over a mantle on a BIG wall.  I also thought that it would look amazing hanging vertically in an entryway... again, BIG wall

It certainly demands to be a focal point anywhere it hangs.
Some chips and splits that are shown in the pictures are consistent with age.
