    Description

    Antique cast iron horse head hitching post with verdigris finish. The iron horse head is welded onto the iron post.  Post has surface rust.  The cast iron head was painted in the 1970s with Tichacek weathered bronze finish.  It's a two step process that gives a copper wash look. Although expensive, the paint is still available. Horse head is 7" tall with widest point being 6 1/2".  Post is 2" in diameter.  Overall length is 68".  Local pick-up only by buyer or private courier in Raleigh, NC.  Note that if buyer chooses to hire a courier for delivery, he/she assumes all expenses and liability associated with shipping.
