Description
DescriptionThis is a magnificent piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.
It was originally located in the dining room as the face to a built in china cupboard.
It is made of quarter sawn oak and is unpainted.
The top is bowed out and has 2 beveled glass doors with 2 pieces of curved glass to the sides.
Above these doors are ornate moldings and an applied carved festoon with bell flowers and ribbons.
There is an open serving area below with a serpentine shelf and ornate corbels and corner brackets.
The bottom has 2 doors with raised panels and applied ornate flowers.
The legs along the ends have applied carved bell flowers.
It measures 56.75 inches wide by 95.75 inches tall.
This is a face only, the closet areas do not have backs or sides.
Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are small chips and dings.
One of the curved pieces of glass is broken. One of the lower doors is broken but everything is there, just needs put back together. The ornate corner brackets have a couple chips. Please look at the pictures carefully.

Terms of Sale
I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.
About Us
My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and Michelle
