NOTES: “BARN WOOD”.... detailed answers to your questions~
    1.  I have a very limited number of barn wood “smaller bundles” which are a mix of straight cuts and END TIPS, and are quite unusual.  A “bundle may contain from 1 to 6 pieces, depending on the size.  All have been lightly scrubbed with soap and water and allowed to dry naturally, however there may be some loose “fluff” after which you can easily brush off.
    2.  All pieces are coming from a 125 year old Midwest Farm Barn.  I’m mixing various types of wood according to similar colors, rather than wood types.
    3.  They may have at least ONE straight rough cut edge, on end or side.  Edges can be smoothed more with a metal file or sandpaper.  May also have nails, nail holes, knots and some slight warp.
    4.  Some may also be “splits” meaning one side will be a bit smoother - other side you’ll see the original split line.  Same with grain lines, texture and color since they will have come from same board.  Some may be in the process of splitting also, but secure to original board so I’m not separating them.
    5.  One side will usually be a bit prettier and slightly different color than the “weathered side” for obvious reasons.  Outsides faced all the “weather”... other side would have been protected inside the barn.
    6.  The “smaller/shorter tip” bundles will be approx. 3” tall up to 11”.
    7.  Longer bundles of 2 to 4 pieces can be up to around 20+ inches and lengths will be included in the individual listing short description.
    8.  I love the "warp" in some of the boards as it creates really neat edge shadows on walls.”  I’ve used them to mount small photos on, instead of using a conventional “frame”.
    9.  Would also suggest NOT using nails or screws to secure things to antique boards but use glue when you can - ie: glue wall hanging holder to backs etc.
    10. Some of the larger boards, ie: possibly harder grain, can also be used for “rubbings”... others may be too soft so test carefully first!
    11.  SEE LAST TWO PHOTOS that I set up for a still life photo... all freestanding on the rough cut side... then assembled into a tiny village of scene using only end tips and two sheets of background paper.  Could also be mounted on a piece of Masonite or larger board for a wall collage... or just to be able to move to other locations at times.
    12.  If you're looking for a "real country look" I personally think these are much more interesting and creative for craft projects, signs, photo frames etc.
    13. better yet!!... If you want more than one bundle, will combine and reduce shipping costs greatly, IF they are purchased and sent at same time.  WOOD IS HEAVY so save shipping when you can.
    14.  ALL bundle listings are in store under:  BARN FINDS - Surprises
Keep in mind with old, weathered, barn wood there will never be two pieces that are the same... each will have it's own personality and color tones throughout, large or small.
Get creative!!... Have fun with them!!
    Thanks for looking!~
