2 Vintage Mother of Pearl Paua Abalone? Shell Pieces for Inlay, dollhouse etc

UP for sale are two vintage shell pieces that were adornment at some point, maybe on a box.  These were recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area.  The fish,  1 3/4 x 1/2",  seems mother of pearl, and the button? (glue remnants on back), knob top?, decoration seems paua shell or abalone shell maybe.  Approx 1 1/4".  Shiny as well.
Great for any inlay or craft project, great dollhouse potential!
