    Description

Really cool home bar in great shape. It does need a new counter made for it, I still I the old one but it is sad shape, could be used as a template. The house was featured in Architectural  Digest  in 1950 located in Libertyville, IL.  The story goes in 1949 a gentleman from California came out to IL to start the Savings of America Bank centers. When the architect was finish building the home for the couple, the architect went back to California and the guys wife left with him. Then the house sat vacant for 10 years till the gentleman who invented the bottle cap purchased the home. The front of the bar is all leather with bronze buttons. The bar measures 8' 1" in diameter X 42.75" high. The single basin sink measures 18" X 11". There's also a sliding pass thru divider measuring 21.5" W X 9" High on one end of the bar. There is a gold painted can ceiling mounted light that goes with the It measures 101" Diam. X 68" deep at 7" high. There's also a French saying inscribed in the face of the light. The light once had drop panels in the fixture which had a gooey resin in it. As the sandwiched panels heated up from the indirect lighting it would bubble and the resin would move all around. Will assist in shipping.
